Both for entertainment value and I learn a lot about a lot of things from reading magazine articles. I learn a lot about health issues, housecleaning, cooking, new ways to save money, new web sites. I can learn a lot from reading and then I can pass on that knowledge to others on sites that I write for. Reading makes me a better writer.

My mother in law gave it to me when my husband and I got married 20 years ago and I don't know how long she had it before that so it is obviously quite old I would say it does not have a high wattage because it takes the maximum amount of time to cook everything. It still works though so I am not complaining.

My husband's mom was really honest like that too, as are his grandparents they don't realize that it hurts someone's feelings when you tell them you don't like a gift that they gave you.
