Do you feel valued when you're at work?

Well I do. My job deals with content writing and the editor is an absolutely lovely woman. While working, I constantly feel I'm doing something worthwhile with my life. :)

I feel valued whenever someone needs me to do an assignment because no one here is very computer literate and we depend on the power of spreadsheets to track and organzie data in very specific ways. I sometimes feel valued by my boss when my regular reports are completed on time and accurate but there are many times that I feel very underappreciated, especially considering the talent and education I bring to my position.
