how can one earn using your own videos?

i am just curious... do people earn anything by posting videos on youtube? or are these people's pure intention is just to share what they have to the world of youtube? anyway, is there any site you know where one can earn by posting their own videos? i also tried looking for blogsites which will let me download my own videos but just can't find the right one. i know blogspot does but it's way too too low. it took me more than two hours downloading a 30 minute episode of a tv series but after two hours, the download wasn't even finished. anyway, does anyone know here where i can earn through sharing videos? thank you so much. anne

Wait a minute, i know a site you can earn to post videos as long as you qualify. Its www.metacafe.com You need to get a rating of more than 3.5 and millions of views to earn and i know people do earn as long as they prove that the videos are theirs.

Some (well, probably most) people do just post for the fun of it. I think people who post videos with the intention of earning money through them use them to drive traffic to their site. Maybe by embedding links in the video (not sure if that works with YouTube videos), or adding the link elsewhere. Bit vague there, never uploaded videos to YouTube, or even registered an account, so don't know what info you can add.

Hi Anne I do not earn anything at all I just keep them there so I do not loose them, mine are all of Gissi You can set it to have it private or public I do not know of any Site that Pays for Videos I do hope that you will find one though Good Luck

I don't know if you can earn anyting by posting your own ideos on Youtube, but I know that you CAN earn points and possibly cash, if you post your videos on Gather.com I hae earned enough points on Gather to buy a number o books from Borders. As a Canadian I could not earn money on Gather, but I did earn lots of gift cards which I used when I was in the USA.

yeah. i think i can't use those gift cards here in sweden. been to gather for a short while but realized i can't make use of the stuffs i can get from there. thanks!

yes youtube is a great place to earn some good bucks from your videos, i make money there my self here is something that will help you get started to make money on youtube
