Is there a way to call on a mobile phone or a telephone using internet for free

well i wanted to know if there was a way to make calls on mobile phones and cell phones for free using the internet. ur suggestions are invited.

Skype is free only when calling computer to computer."Skype Out" allows you to call computer to landline (have never tried it to a cellphone...it may work,it may not) but Skype Out costs...I use it for international calls to the US,as those I'm calling don't have broadband-it doesn't work at all well calling a dialup computer..it's much cheaper than a regular landline-landline long distance call,which is good,but definitely not free.If there is a service out there that'll allow free calls to landlines/cellphones,I'd like to find it too!

There's a loophole here I thought of that might work..UK Cellphone Provider "3" has a Cellphone that comes bundled with Skype..Not having one,or knowing anyone who does,I don't know enough about the phone or how it works..eg..Is it a Duplex setup? ie. Does the regular Cellphone function alongside skype so you can receive calls on either "network",or do you have to enable the Skype function separately from the Cell,ie,go into the menu settings to use it? if the 2 functions worked alongside one another,then Yes,You could call from the web to a cell for free!

sorry..was composing the skype phone reply and missed Yours..You should really check the skype website,they should have info on their call rates,depending on which countries you were planning on calling..Using skype,they only give you the cost as you use it,but it is only fractions of a penny a Minute..

Voip services such as Skype is not for free but they offer lower rates. I haven't try this because I always use yahoo messenger instead. You cannot use ym in calling through their phones but you can send them sms for free.
