Has anyone seen The Dark Knight? Is it really good?

The Dark Knight was an extremely excellent movie. Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker was one for the history books! It had to be one of his best performances ever. I usually wait for movies to come out on DVD before seeing them, but I couldn't resist and had to go to see it the first weekend that it was out and I wasn't disappointed. The only bad thing is that the last few moments of the ending really sucked! It isn't that the aspect of the performance or quality of the film that was bad, it was the closing moment that really blows chunks!! A definate MUST SEE!

Well I find it rather violent and I would not recommended for younger audiences. The plot is for mature audience I think. The story was a bit gory for me as there were many killings that happen in there. The Joker was a different Joker that I know from the previous series.

I also want to see this movie. Critics and fans both have given it excellent ratings. Even IMDB.com has it rated really high. I heard that unlike most comic book movies this is a good movie. A lot of people said it is pretty dark and grisly for children though.
