Ok so buying toilet tissues do you go 4 - Cheap, Middle of the road or Luxery?

I have tried them all. I hate paying so much money for toilet paper and so in trying to save some money I have tried the cheap ones and don;t like them. You get what you pay for and if you pay little you get little. So now the only kind of toilet paper I buy is Charmines. I know it can be expensive but I usually watch for when it goes on sale, at Walmart usually, and stock up. I hate nothing more than toilet paper that my fingers come through when I am wiping so for me it is worth paying more for it.

hi graceandown I am afraid I am one who buys the cheapest butI found that thecheapest of 'albertsons brand is two ply and soft as the very expensiveCharmin tissues.so i lucked out on that soft and cheap thats a great combination. I think that some generics are made by the same makers of name brands like Charmin and scotts.I like a strong soft tissue and found that in Albertsons generics.

ooh so sorry for you. you have to do what works best for you. i prefer to get the cheap kind. it works just fine for me and my mom and is easy on the pocket book. i wish other things would work as well. happy T P.

Well grace, I'm sorry that you suffer from Crohns. I know how miserable that can be. I buy toilet paper on sale and by the big packs-12-24! I use alot of it! I try to get the stronger softer ones. I to spend a great deal of time on the "throne". I have irritable bowel syndrome" It's also not a very pleasant disease. There is definitey a difference in the brands and in the ply. I have become an expert. I still make mistakes sometimes. But I do prefer to buy the larger packs. I like Cottonelle and Scott the best. Charmin is ok too. Do you have those brands? Those are the top USA brands.
