Does your husband have a phobia of the phone?

I believe mine does, any calls that he needs to make he wants me to do it, also if the phone rings and he is sitting right beside it he either totally ignores it, or he looks at the caller id until the phone stops ringing. Then if he does happen to pick up the phone because I tell him my hands are full I am busy and point out the phone is right beside of him, he tries to wait until it stops ringing so he can say they hung up, or if he does pick it up and he does not like whoever it is on the phone, he hangs up on them and claims he could not hear them, Really I am concerned he has a phone phobia of some kind, he will scream at bill collectors or hang up on them he will make no sense to sales callers, he will pretend he can't hear on the phone if anyone walks into a room he is in on the phone and slam the phone down and say he can't do business on the phone when there is so much noise in the house (when there was none). Would this type of behaviour concern you? Also he wants me to do all his talking to his doctors but when I do and say something he is doing or not doing he interrupts and gets mad. I think he has some sort of problem or something do you believe I am correct? or am I making too much of this. this has been going on for a while but lately is getting extremely much worse and getting on my nerves.

My husband loves the phone, it is me who has a slight phobia. We have three phones in our living room. I am usually closest to one of them. Whenever the phone rings I will look at the caller ID, my husband will be saying answer it. It is usually for him, so he should just get up and answer it when it rings. If I am home alone, I will take the phone off the hook when I go to the bathroom. I just do not like to be disturbed by the ringing of the phone.

My husband does not like the phone at all, he is always afraid that he will have to talk to someone he does not want to or something.
