how have your job searches been. I have been unemployed for over a year and am so frustrated because I can not find a job. I send out resume after resume and get no responses back. It is really tough trying to land a job. The last time I was unemployed in 2003, I found another job within two months. How about you, how is your job search going and what means are you going about looking for a job?

My mother passed away in June and I lost all desire to spend time on Mylot. I have been out of work for a long time and I guess with my mother's passing and no job, I got myself into a slumber. My beautiful cat of 12 years was put to sleep yesterday. I am so upset. She had a growth on her front leg that was spreading rapidly. My husband took her to the Vet's yesterday, and was told that she had bone cancer. I think kids should be able to have a little fantasy for a while. Kids grow up too fast, and really do not have much time to be children. I think Santa is not a bad thing. I used to put gifts under the tree for my son from me and from Santa. I would let him know that the gifts were not free, and that Santa had to be paid for his work.

I also joined facebook, I couldn't figure it out at first, but now I mostly log on to play games. I enjoy cube crash and farmville. I usually do not write on people's walls, except to wish birthday greetings. I have found a few friends and relatives also. I really do not find it interesting, so I will spend all of my facebook time playing the games.

I am glad to hear that you are doing ok, and hope your health is better. It is too bad jobs do not have compassion when it comes to sick employees. They could have gotten a temp to replace you until you were able to return to work.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Scoots was so funny, on Sunday afternoon after church, I would sometimes curl up on the couch with my blue blanket. As soon as Scoots saw that she would come and curl up with me. Then I became a prisoner, because I did not want to get up and disturb her[em]happy[/em]
