What is said in the Bible usually depends on the interpretation of the reader. In Genisis (the first book of the bible) when God apparently created Man, God said "We shall make man in our image"... this blatantly means there is more than one God, hence the "our". Yet there are billions of fundemental christians who believe that God is a single being. The Holy Christian Bible is apparently the word of God, yet it was written by man. There is very little words in the bible that are actually said by God. Most of it is the views of the men who wrote it. Christianity is a monotheistical religion. Riddled with contradictions. Although saying that, the 10 commandments are 10 good laws to live your life by, the idea of selflessness and kindness towards others that Christianity is supposed to be about is an excellent way to be but the Religious followings that have been built around what men have taken from the Bible can be a terrible thing to get involved with. Mary Magdaline is the virgin mother of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Son of God.

I agree with you. I think humans and sentient beings should live by selflessness. Why? For survival. Otherwise civilization wouldn't exist, many people would not feel happy and it could affect their behavior.

Hello dreamssri; First of all, the Bible is a combination of texts written by several different persons. No ONE particular person wrote it. Secondly...it is NOT a religion. It is a book of history, story, faith, belief, and phylosophy. Yes...Jesus WAS a real person, and the Romans WERE ruthless in their crusifictions against those who opposed the Roman Empire. Forget about The Da Vinci Code. A good picture, but PURE Hollywood none the less. MANY similar texts have been written, stating somewhat the same incidents, as perceived by the writer. The Torra for instance is of the Old Testament. The Quaran is another. Tibentans call it (in English) "The Way". First Nations Peoples beleive in the Great Spirit, that created all things in goodness, love, and harmony, and have their stories as well. It is up to the INDIVIDUAL to interpret wisdom and guidence, no matter WHICH text or spiritual phylosophy one may worship. Religion of itself, is man-made....AND religion unfortunately, has been the cause of so many disputes, wars, and hatred, still unto this day. It is a shame really. The truth is within your OWN heart, your OWN spirit...it's what YOU choose to believe that matters, that makes you celebrate life. As for Saint Mary Magdalene, she was a desciple of Jesus. Her name distinguishes her from other Marys, that some say identifies her with being from the town of Magdala, which is on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. There are many different days celebrated in her honor, depending on which churh one belongs to. But here's the point... it doesn't matter WHAT you believe, so long as you believe. Peace be with you my brother. commanderxo

Man created the bible but God give his prophets to write the words that has given them. Da Vinci Code is the most foolish book and film I ever seen, they are many plotholes and unaccuracy in history of humankind. and I don't know mari mcdalenis, Is the character appeared on that film, mmm I didn't notice but maybe it is a characters in the film. Dan Brown have his own interpretationn. Oh I see you mean mary mcdalene, she is a wore which become christian like anybody else, who repent her sins.
