There are the candle parties, the pots 'n pans parties, the lingerie and clothing parties; is there any such thing as a scrapbooking party? I'd love to have a home presentation if any such thing was available. It would be a cool way to get friends together and order new and neat items for scrapbooking! Any parties going on??Thank you so much!

On top of the other great companies that have already been mentioned there is also Top Line Creations. You can find a consultant near you by going to www.topline-creations.com just enter your zip code and a list of consultants near you will pop up. I personally think my customers love parties because not only do they get a discount and earn free product. But most turn the evening into a crop night. Everyone brings their projects, gets a little technical assistant if needed, and basically just has a great time cropping with no children, no husband and no ringing phone. I hope you have a great time with your party who ever you choose to go with!!

Yes, there are a few companies that put on scrapbooking parties like you are talking about. Making Memories is one, Creative Memories is another. You could probably do a search for either one, and find a rep in your area. Some will even bring along a make-and-take for you and your guests. I am thinking of becoming a rep myself, just haven't been able to get that started with moving, helping my daughter move, and a move from Virginia to Texas coming up in a couple of weeks.

Grammabean, Looks like you got some good advice so far... Hopefully by now you are a scrapbook party expert! In fact, I bet you are ready to host your own scrapbook party! Try using one of the ready-made themed crops available at www.KeyLimeCrops.com. There's a free crop download in the Crop Room for you to try before you buy. Everything you need to host a crop is included from invitations to decorating ideas, a free scrapbooking project, ideas to scrapbook the party, and FREE party planners which walk you through your guest list, supplies to complete the theme and much more! My favorite is the Scrap Therapy Crop! But that's because I am totally addicted. If you still are unsure about hosting the crop yourself, then ask your scrapbooking consultant or your local scrapbook store to host a Key Lime Crop. They really offer parties to remember! Good Luck! Yes there are, I think it is Creative Memories that does them. You could do a search at ChaCha.com and a guide could find them for you.

They're usually called "crops" or "crop night" where a group of scrapbook enthusiasts get together and just scrapbook the night away, sharing tools that the others might not have, chatting about scrapbooking, and helping each other out in making pages/layouts or sharing ideas. You can also host a scrapbook themed party like for a baby shower, or bridal shower, where all the attendees try to make a scrapbook page for the mom's baby to be, or a woman's wedding album to be. Since the baby is not present yet or the wedding photos aren't there yet, you can just leave spaces for photos (by placing blank photo mats on the page), so that the mom-to-be or the bride would be able to glue whatever pictures from the wedding (or of her baby) that she likes.
