Does Jesus have an active roll in our daily lives at this point in time?

Personally I believe Jesus does work with us one on one today. In fact the 10th chapter of Acts suggests we are dealing with two different Holy Spirits. Both the Holy Spirit of God and also the Holy Spirit of Jesus. Use a good red letter addition of the Bible if you have one so you will know who is speaking. The 10th chapter deals with the fact that God was impressed with a man named Cornelius. God simply wanted to give him the gift of the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. Read the 10th chapter real close. In verse 3 the Holy Spirit in the form of an Angel spoke to Cornelius. In verse 5 God instructed Cornelius to send men and find Simon Peter. Keep in mine so far it has been God speaking to Cornelius. Now read verses 13 thru 15. In verse 13 Jesus told Peter, "Rise, Peter. Kill, and eat". This is in red letter so it was Jesus speaking to Peter, But, this was after the death of Jesus so it had to be the Holy Spirit of Jesus speaking to Peter. The Holy pirit spoke to peter again in verse 15, (Red letter). Now read verses 19 and 20. The spirit of God spoke to Peter. He told Peter to go with the "For I have sent them". God sent the men to seek out Peter, ( Verse 5). God was guiding Cornelius and Jesus was teaching Peter. Is this the roll both of them play in our lives? I believe it is. Can the Holy Spirit work with us before we are anointed. Sure it can. God spoke to Cornelius before he was anointed. Also note the Holy Spirit of God and the Holy Spirit of Jesus both spoke to Peter. I believe God guides and when we are anointed then Jesus personally teaches us through His Holy Spirit. At that point we then have God guiding us and Jesus teaching us. I may be all washed up but that is sure what the 10th chapter of Acts suggests. Art

There is no doubt God has a hand on us even if we have never come to Him. I look back now and can see times I probably wouldn't have survives had He not been helping me. When I first encountered God's personal teaching I was very confused. Some of it there was no doubt in my mind it was Him and then other times I couldn't be sure it was of Him or of Me. God can work so quietly sometimes in our lives it is really hard to tell. We must remember God can use anything you and I use to communicate with each other to communicate with us. Also He has a whole world to open up before us to help verify something he is trying to teach us. I am amazed some times how many things have been right in front of me all my life and I have never seen them before. Then all at once God will open things up right before us where we can understand it perfectly. And really know the truth about it. Yes God and Jesus both has a hand on us any time we need them. However I believe God's goal is to teach us how to live our lives and please Him without him having to have His hand on us all the time. I believe that's what God has had in mind for us all along. You are certainly not washed up arkie, far from it. I too believe that both Jesus and Jehovah God work with us today - even though sometimes we don't know it.
