Gathering in the bounty

Well a small bounty but a bouty none the less. I love having my own fresh veggies. Going to make some salsa today with the tomatoes and the jalapeno pepper. I need to save out some seeds to dry out so that I can have them to plant. These tomatoes are from heirloom plants and they did so well this year I want to duplicate that. Do you save seeds? How is your garden going?

Where I live now, I only have an indoor Aerogarden. It's doing quite well. I've always had an acre or more for an organic garden. I miss that.

Glad to know there are more AeroGardeners on here. Have you found the AeroGarden Growers Community Forum yet? Would love to see you there!

Our garden is growing good, but we have harvested little. We have tons of green tomatoes, but have only had 6 ripen so far. We do not save seeds, but we have some tomatoes growing where we planted last year, and some of the corn that we feed the ducks must have been missed, as we have several corn plants, too.

I do save seeds, and also have an unstoppable urge to buy them when they are on sale. My garden is growing great, but I want a few more AeroGardens!

I want to have atleast 4 aerogardens lol. I want one that I can dedicate to the seedstarter tray. Since gardening is year round here in FL that would keep my garden going nicely. I also want one to keep herbs going in, and one for salad greens then th other can be either strawberries or tomatoes alternating between the two. But right now I only have the one. I am going to buy another one as soon as I go back to work so that will be for the seedstarter tray.

Four is just about right. I use one for the salad greens and herbs, one for peppers, one for experiments, and the other one now has 7 different kinds of tomato plants, which is also an experiment, although I had planned to use that one for some flowers. I bought a starter kit, but at present do not have any empty AGs to put it in. I think I'll keep an eye out on eBay for a used one to get just for starting stuff.
