ym or skype?

which do you prefer? yahoo messenger or skype? I use both but I prefer Yahoo messenger mainly coz I can hide from the people that I don't want to talk to hahaa. There are people in my list that I'd rather not have conversation with, but added them still coz it would be rude to deny their request. Am I bad? What about you? Which do you prefer and why?

I prefer Yahoo Messenger than skpee because I am well versed with YM. I have not used skpee. Kindly give me info regarding skpee and its uses and disadvantages.

Well thats same as that of Yahoo Messenger. I dont think any diffence in the two. Infact yahoo messenger has improved a lot specially after Microsoft roumered it is going to buy of Yahoo.

For one, you can't be invisible from just 1 contact in Skype, main problem for me. If you choose the invisble mode, you're invisible to everybody. But then what's wierd is that when a contact has sent you a message before you logged in and then you log in as invisible, the message window pops up on the screen of the person who sent you a message. So the person will know that you are actually online but on invisible mode. However they have this skypecasts thing, where you can do phone conferences with people from all over the world. It's quite useful esp for people who want to learn a languages..

I like skype for voice chat. It works well and i've never had any problems with it. As for regular text chatting I use msn messenger, but only because it's what everyone else uses. If I could I would get everyone using skype.

Yahoo Messenger. My friends use it too. For your query, you should have denied those you don't want to converse with. It is better to face it than be hideous forever.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have for some people. But if it's your interviewer who added you so you can do a phone interview with the person, I don't think you'd want to deny the request...

Hi friend, I prefer yahoo messenger.Because i ame using it from my graduation time and lot of friends are there in my messenger list.Because of it i am unable to get out of it. Have a nice day.

i haven't tried using skype so i prefer using ym. aside from that, most of my friends use ym when we were chatting

me neither im a bit not familiarize about skype.. so i prefer yahoo messenger my friends also use yahoo.. and i am agree with that inutme you can't hide from people you don't to talk to.. ^_^
