milk helps to promote sleep.

don't you know that milks helps to promote sleep because it has a sedatives effect,it contains L-TRYPTOHAN. so, i suggest to have a warm glass of milk before you sleep.

Yeah, I have also heard this line from those people who suggest that milk is a good way to have a great sleep. But not all would agree to it, especially for those who have lactose intolerance. hehee.. though there are already lacto-free milk available in stores. Another suggestion for good sleep would be to take warm showers before going to bed. =)

Yeah ;I too agree to this and have tried it myself many a times.Milk has other beneficial nutritional ingredients also . However;at times ;when we have taken dinner late in the evening ; we find it difficult to take milk because our stomach is too heavy . Regards, Sweety_81
