What's your favorite rainy-day pastime?

I dont like to go out when it's raining so i just stay at home except when i really need to go out for groceries or go to the market..It's not the rain but it's bringing an umbrella while carrying many things that i hate most..I couldn't afford to get sick so I don't have a choice but to bring and use the umbrella.. When at home during rainy days, we usually watch our favorite movies with popcorn and drinks or other snacks..My son is so sad when it's raining outside, because he wouldn't be able to play on the street..So, to make him happy, we do the things that we both love and bond.. I like drinking a hot cup of coffee or choco also and I would give my son his milk and cookies..

I love to stay indoors when its raining. Listening to music, surfing the net, and watching movies is what I usually do. :)

I think rain just mkes me lazy and as soon as i begin to hear droplests bang my roof, I will certainly be deep in my blanket and if my wife is around me only your guess will be good as mine as to what we shall be doing in that bedroom

Sounds good, I am on my way over. I will also bring some popcorn so we can have it when we watch a movie later.

MyLot, chocolate and pancakes seems to me an ideal way to spend a rainy day. I can happily stay indoors and read, listen to the radio and use the internet, but I don't mind being out in the rain. I was out walking recently and it started raining heavily, but it was warm summer rain. I didn't have a coat or anything waterproof to put on but I knew I would dry off quickly when I got home.

Hi, I enjoy rainy weather, if I'm not caught in a traffic jam, or stuck somewhere without an umbrella. If I'm at home, and it's raining heavily (no lightning please ), I'll laze around with my cushions and books - reading and eating snacks; while listening to the rain pattering outside! It's simply heaven!

I like to have a shot of whiskey and sit around with my family members with hot steamy snacks and chat away.

as such i do not like rainy days so much. due to this i can't associate any past time to it. in most cases there is office that i have to attend how much it can rain. so i ever get ny relief. if its holiday it will be good to be home, reading a nice story book.

I love staying at home and sleep... drink a hot choco, read books or watch movies but snuggling with my partner in bed is really one of my favorite thing to do when it rains.

It's actually rainy season in our country now. It rains almost daily. I like to sip a delicious corn or chicken coup. Right now, I am sipping my favorite corn soup. It tastes so good as ever. Love it.

Wow hot chocolate with pancakes! What a delicious treat. I'm too lazy to cook so I just have cereal as a midday snack. When it rains, I'll usually stay indoors. If I'm already out, then I'll go shop or watch a movie. Eating, as you mentioned, is also one of my favorite activities. With so many good and affordable restaurants in the metro, it's not a hardship to eat out with friends or family.

I love the rain and I really like going out and playing in it. I especially love the smell of rain. Whenever I dont have anything to do and I dont want to go out in the rain, I love to read in my living room or bedroom and listen to the pitter-patter of the rain drops hitting the roof. I really like to camp in the mountains when it's raining. There is no better smell than the smell of mountain rain. And it's always fun to hear the rain hit the tent or the camper, better than when it hits the roof of my house. Rain is so poetic. It sets a magical mood. It's so pacifying. I just love rain!!!

That a good ideas,i been doing that when i was in Philippines and i miss it so much.But since i am here in Sweden,i usually alone at home my husband work the whole and it not easy to invited friends here they always busy and of course the neighborhood too..Lifestyle here in sweden is really different from Philippines.Like if it raining my plan to go sun bathing is destroy,lik for example today,i want to talk a walk but it is raining so i stay home with my hombuddy (my computer)i chat,listen music and show and surfing internet.But i think if right now i am in Phil i will be with family talking and having a hot cholocolate or what ever kind of snacks.I miss the Philippines lifestyle :=( .

I am a Filipino and I agree about your statements. Yea, common pastimes are malling and watching movies but I think I find that one boring for me. During rainy days, I just sit in the front of the computer and play computer games. Of course, I also do my homeworks and try to read lessons and lectures in advance.

I think rainy days can be very cosy, everyone is inside playing games together or cuddling up against each other. I like that. If for some reason I was planning on going out I won't let a little rain stop me. A storm is another story as I get blown over fairly easily because of my balance impairment, but rain I can take .

I love to just stay at home during rainy days. Just drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and eating cake :D Sometimes, I just relax and read a book.. or I watch a DVD series all day. If I have enough time, I usually just play a computer game, lol. I also love listening to mellow music during rainy days.. specially songs of Norah Jones, Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson :D

When it's one rainy day, I just usually stay at home in my room or in the dining room with my laptop watching movies, staying online and eating whatever I feel like eating at the moment. I get lazy to go out when it's raining. I hate the wet streets although sometimes my friends get to be too insistent and they'll pick me up at home to go out and watch movies or hang out. But that rarely happens.

hi hot chocolate and pancakes, pass them here. lolI like to mylot when it rains but here in sunny hot southern california it has not rained in months. so i still mylot anyway. when it rains I like to read my favorite books and listen to music. lol.

I really don't like to rain, first of all reasons for me is that I can't go out or I don't want to be out with my motorcycle. Being out on the road during rainy days makes my bike so dirty, aside from the fact that it is so slippery out there. But if rain comes and I don't have to be out, I stay at home with my wife and the kids watching movies. KEEP SMILING = NEIL (red star 91 @ 1416)

I love pancakes! Hmmm yummy! Oh what a nice feeling to be just in my room enjoying hot chocolate and pancakes while doing mylot. I envy you my friend! I can't do that during the weekdays because I have a job and whether it's raining or not, I have to work. But really rain does give a feeling of wanting to just stay home and do things for yourself like sleeping or any relaxing things.
