Here are examples of uncommon source of human food. Caterpillar, weaver ants, termites, snake, worms, coffee seeds from animal dung, lizards...lots of them! Would you like to try them?

I like to watch this show on the Travel channel, I can't for the life of me think of the name of it right now, but it's about this man that travels all around the world and tries all the really exotic foods of each culture. It's really amazing to see what other people eat in other parts of the world. Stuff that here in the USA seems totally gross but it's normal to eat for others. I think it's great and I think I would be willing to try some different things. I say that now, but I'm sure I would have a difficult time trying to bugs.

I've never tried any of those things and I don't really want to. :) Two of the most exotic foods I have tried are snails and octopus but didn't really care for either one.

There are a variety of fresh and saltwater snails that are eaten here in my country. I have tried octopuses also.

I already ate fried frogs. It tasted like chicken meat. It is clean and healthy. But not all frogs are edible. There is this one kind that is poisonous.

You're right, not all frogs or toads are edible because some are poisonous. Frogs are common delicacies in the Philippines especially during the rainy season. Frogs are rich in protein.
