Horror Authors!

I am a huge fan of all that is horror. My best friend has a ridiculous amount of horror books and she is really into an author by the name of Bentley Little. Has anyone ever heard of this author and if so, what book would you recommend I read first?

yes i have read and heard of him he is Stephen King writing as Bentley Little ! and he gets into some horror stuff but i liked it.I am reading The House soon..

Actually, Bentley Little is a protege of Stephen King's, but he is not Stephen King using a pen name - as far as I've been able to tell.

I haven't read any books that scared me, other than a "true possession" book called "Satan's Harvest". It scared my pants off a few years ago. I would recommend reading it if you're into the supposed true stuff.
As for horror movies, there are also none that I can think of that really scared me. The movie the Changeling gave me chills, but only because of the creepy voices in it. Little kids' voices freak me out. I'm still on the look out for a truly scary movie.

I havent heard of this author. I'm more of a Dean Koontz fan myself. I would be interested in reading something by this author. I like to read horror. It is one of my favorite genres. I have read alot of Stephen King's books and a few by Clive Barker as well. I think I might actually like thrillers alittle more than horror, but both genres are quite good.
