It is hot and i usually open door and open the windows to keep air flow. But there are several mosquitos enter and bite me when i am asleep. They are so annoying that I use mosquito tent to defend their attack. I don't like to use anti-mosquito incense or electro-incense. i don't want to be harmed by chmical substance although some one believe they are safe. What about you? How do you avoid be bothered by mosquitos?

yes, there are some. first of all keep the doors and windows shut from evening 5-7. this will prevent their entry. also a electric device is available in the form of a racket. you charge it and hit the mosquitoes. on touching the mosquito, there is a spark. like the insect catchers in restaurants. you can use it. costs around 70-80 rupees.

Must be so wonderful to sleep with the door open. In our country, if a person sleeps with their door open at night, they are likely to be robbed or murdered in their sleep. As for the mosquitos, we have many in our area. But none in our home. My best suggestion would be to watch what you eat. Eating bananas and some fruits will attract mosquitos to you. Mosquitos can't eat bananas by themselves, but enjoy feasting off the people who do! I found that out by hard experience. Eating garlic in your meals is thought to repel mosquitos. Keep a potted marigold plant by your bed on a stand. Mosquitos are repelled by the scent. Best of luck!

hi lixiaos there are very few mosquitos in Southern California, we do have screens on our windows to keep out all bugs and any stray mosquitos. we sometimes open our front door and then sometimes flies come in and we have to swat them but we have no mosquitos. thank goodness for that.
