Do You use VOIP?

I was under the impression VOIP services should never be used for Emergency calls,a point that Skype make clear on their website..This news item would seem to indicate just why such services should NOT be used in an emergency...

Yes I use voip for calls.
In fact I use it everyday.
I have Onesuite.com for all of my long distance calls.
I use Yahoo Messenger for voice chatting over the net.
You can always maintain a mobile phone if emergency calls are important to you or a landline. Use only voip for long distance calls. The main purpose of voip is actually to save on high long distance charges by big providers like AT&T, Sprint, T-mobile, Rogers, Fido, Tellus, etc.
