Fruit or vegetables

Dear mylot friends in you opinion which one is better taking fruits daily or adding as much vegetables in your diet. I take a mixed diet, but more of fish and meat.

I think its good to have a mixed diet as it gives you all the vitamins and minerals needed for the body. More of fish is good but you need to cut down eating more of meat as it contains lots of fat.

But unfortunately we get fruits and vegetables which are grown after insecticides and pesticides. And once we wash the chopped vegetables / fruits the water soluble vitamins are lost. Yeah, I like fishes very much and you are right I will cut down the amount of meat. Thankx

Yes now a days we are getting hybrid fruits and vegetables which are grown with fertilizers and insecticides. This will certainly not have the same amount of nutuients which is supposed to be. So we need to consume lot of them to get sufficient nututients. Yes fish is good for help. It improves your intelligence. Dont ask me how?

You are perfectly right, but you should not completely avoid meat products. Fat is required for metabolic activities of the body.

It is very good habit to eat both vegetables and fruits since both of them have equal nutrients. I prefer a mixed diet so that it is a balanced meal. Fish is good for your health than meat as meat may contain fat.

Fruits have rich potassium which is required for our daily metabolic activities. Vegetablec contain fiber which are helpful in removing excess fat.

Both are good for us and we eat both of them in equal amounts .we always have the frsh vegetables and they come from the store on a daily basis,the same as the fruit,we like to buy the fruit daily as we feel its fresher,it has not stood in the shop too long maybe,the bigger the turnover in the shop the fresher the fruit and vegetables

I love 70% vegetable with 30% meat. I like meat very much but I can't have too much. I also like vegetable and I can have much. I have a light taste and i usually stew vegetable. I have meat every other day. If I am very tired I will have beef. If i am a little greedy i will have pork.

I think good is to have chicken with skin removed. Because once the skin is removed the amount of fat is less and chicken meat is easily digestable. At a younger age I am having high cholesterol.

I my opinion we should eating both fruits and vegetables every day.Although the nutritional components of fruits and vegetable have many similareities, but they are after all two different types of foods,they have different functions.Fruits contain more soluble dietary fiber and carbohydrates, eating fruits can stimulate digestive gland secretion,and help digestion of food.Vegetables?especially dark vegetables?contain more minerals and fibers which fruits donot have.So fruit and vegetable can not substitute for each other.

both. why? they are both healthy and needed by the body. vegetable must be half cooked. its more delicious if its still crispy. fruits are good for dessert or eat it early in the morning before eating heavy meal. it detox our body system.

In my opinion balanced diet is a must. We need to eat fruits and vegetables in every meal,with meat,fish, bread or rice or pasta. I usually eat fruits more, than vegetables. I seldom eat vegetables, the only vegetable I will eat is cabbage. But I can eat plenty of fruits. And pitchers of water.
