What movie you prefer and what you think about sequels ?

Now you got movies like Batman , Mummy 3 and Starship Troopers 3 and coming up Scream 4 , Jurassic Park 4 and after this Batman is a new one coming with probably Johnny Depp as TWO FACE , hellboy 2 etc.
Do you like sequel movie ? or do you think that the production are going to long going with the same product so it is easy and making quickly money ? or maybe lake on creativity ?
I need to confess i am looking forward to Jurassic Park 4 and Scream 4 if the casting is good !

Hi kane,
I've seen all of the Mummy movies, i'm still waiting for Jurassic 4, that way it left off, those bird have to have landed somewhere. I don't know why they taking so long in making the movie. I hope that use the same people, I hate it when they bring in new people. That would be the only one I look forward to seeing.

I have gone to the movies in such a long time, that probably wont' go to see the Mummy, I'll just wait for it to come out on cable. So far I like all of them, they kept the same people, on the last one, doesn't the brother in law come out? What happen to his wife and kid?

its not necessary that all sequels r bad, mummy 3 was a failure mainly becoz producers went ahead with it even after rachel's refusal as it made her the mom of 22 yr old.......spiderman3 was a success becomes cast n the team was same...n sam rami is a great director n always comes with new ideas....so mummy 3 is a lesson for sequel makers, stick to ur cast n team or spoil franchise...n make us feel bad at the end of day

i think sequel movie is a good idea but the problem with the sequel is that you tend to compare the movie with its previous sequel. So the director or the unit has to live upto that level if they want the movie to be successful. This comparision sometimes kills the sequel.

I find movie sequels generally disappointing with a few exceptions. I think it's because those funding and making the film, having found they are onto a winning formula do not try too hard with the storyline for fear of losing the audience. Instead, they do lose the audience, because it has lost the original spark.

I like to watch llots of things. Those movies are not in my collection. Some of those movies I like. Some of thme I do not. I dont know if I would get jurassic park 4 or scream 4. I think of the movies that are out there I wuld like see like water for chcolate 2 or Spidrman 4 maybe. There aer alot of interesting things to watch.

Spiderman 4 ... then you need to wait for while ... i heard it is delayed and its now scheduled for 2011.
But with a great casting again.
I like the spiderman movie too , i even like the animation serie of it.
Like water for chocolate ???? i never see that one
what is it about ?

i don't really like watching movies but the ones i prefer watching are movies based on a true story.

and True Stories ...... my favorite True story movie is THE LIFE OF DAVID GAYLE .... really amazing that movie !!
