wow, I haven't read one of these for years and years. When I was a girl we used to have this come through the door every month. I remember reading hte funny pages and the medical pages. IE John's leg. Our dentist used to have old ones on the table to read in the waiting room. I wonder how many people still get this thropugh the post.

We used to get it too. It was one of the Annenberg magazines a few miles from my childhood home heer in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Neighbors not only read Reader's Digest, a number of them worked there also.

Hi I too am an avid lover of readers digest which used to come out in the 80s and 90s. It used to be so heartwarming. Now the book has lost much of its lure as have many other things.. Recently i subscribed to rd through its website and i got the first issue also.. But it is not as attractive as it was long ago...
