Would you still buy your favorite shoes when your size were out of stock?

I had seen one of my friends buying shoes which were not fitted her feet. She liked the shoes so much, even though her size were out of stock, she still insisted to buy it. She bought a pair which was bigger one size than her feet. I wondered why she wanted to force herself to buy the shoes. If I were her,I would never do that. I only buy shoes which fitted me well. How about you? Please share your stories, thanks.

Hi yenwie, No I wouldn't buy shoes that I had to stuff my feet into anymore. Yes, that means I have done it in the past. Tell your friend that she needs to stop that now or she will end up with messed up feet like me! When I was younger if I really wanted a pair of shoes I would buy them no matter if the were just a little tight. Then I would end up suffering and not being able to wear them. So money would be wasted, I would suffer for nothing and now I ended up ruining my feet forever! So please try to talk her out of doing this before it does her permanent damage!

Yes, if the next size is available. If there is no 6 but 7 is there, then it will be fine with me. I will use a thin rubber sheet under my feet so it will fit me as well. Especially if i like the shoes that much.

If she insisted on buying them anyway, at least they were a larger size rather than a smaller size, OUCH. With the larger pair, she can put insoles in to make them fit tighter, or she can take them to the shoemakers and they probably have something that can tighten the shoe.
