Is romance required in friendship

Of course not! LOL! If I took that view--I would have every disease under the sun, and very little trust--and a reputation for being a Don Juan. You can't live your life forever like James Dean, as the late John Lennon once said. There are other relationships possible with women other than romantic. There are a lot of women that I am friends with, that I hang out on Facebook and MySpace with,who know I am married and in love with my wife. I am very upfront about that from jump. And my women friends who are really my friends--well, they respect that.

Yeah, some friendships degenrate into hot romance and leaves onlookers wondering!

Not in a "friendship"! I think romance is very important in a relationship which is totally different than a friendship. Personally, I think that romance in a friendship will ruin it.
