i am just curius as to what carseat everyone uses for their children and what made you choose that carseat? i bought both of my kids the sunshine kids radian80 carseats because i think they are really safe.they are 5 point harnessed, rear facing up to 35 pounds (its safest to stay rear facing for as long as the carseat can hold) and forward facing from 5 pounds up to 80 pounds.my daughter is almost 5 years old and she just hit 35 pounds so today we have to face her forward :( im kinda bummed out about it because i know rear facing is best.(after doing much research). my son is only 12 pounds at almost 5 months so he has a while still.so what about you all?

The most important thing with car seats is, always make sure it has a safety certificate, there's a lot of rubbish products out there, that's the first thing, next, is to make sure your baby, or child is going to be comfortable, specially on long journeys, what's also important, make sure the seat fits the car, all to often the seat may well be expensive, but is ill fitting for your vehicle, when my children were small, i drove a BMW 6 series, and nothing fitted it, i had to buy direct from BMW, not cheap, but what price on safety, but generally there all much of a muchness...
