I have ants all over the house and they bother. Poor things so organized, but where I go I see them in line carrying some old piece of something annoys me. Do you guys have a home something that can get rid of ants foreeeeeever! LOL

LOL, I tried that but as I like to talk I tried that also and they were not into conversation seems they keep their group very exclusive. Did you ever have a meeting with ants? Did they talk to you? hahahahah. Wow!

I put some tips in my discussion about natural gardening. One of the best ways is to get 2 little trowels and take a scoopful from eaither nest and trasfer them netween, they'll "wage war" on each other and destroy the respective nests. Once thats over and done with the most inportant part is to try and cave in the ant runs beneath otherwise a new colony will move in to the old quarters. Good luck with it hun!

ps. the chalk thing doesn't really work as I have tried it. It is better to put down bi-carbonate of soda as they do not like to travel across the dust, however that isn't infallable either.

Oh, I completely forgot, if you can get hold of any Neem Oil this creates a brilliant barrier. We had a nightmare in the kitchen, ants coming from everywhere, but couldn't pin point their entry so I sprayed diluted Neem Oil under the cabinets and we haven't had a problem since. Also you can water it in to the ants nest and they'll normally get up and leave. I'm sure tho if you do manange to eradicate a nest that you have to cave it in to stop any new colonies that may talke a shine to some new digs! The ants in France though are a bit tougher than those in the UK!

we had an ant problem at our last apt. after running to the store and finding no ant traps we went online and found an article about powder...it said ants will not cross a powder line....we tried it around our doors and in the bathrooms around the walls and it worked...hard to believe but it does!

I am sad to know that you are not familiar with Turmeric powder. We, Indians, are using daily this powder to flavoring food so always available in our kitchen. (Besides flavouring food, to purify the blood and skin conditions remedy is probably the most common use of turmeric).

A vinegar and water solution sprayed around the area your trying to keep ants away from works wonders for a temporary solution.Boric acid is virtually harmless to the environment and is actually found at low levels of our environment.Or if you don't want to kill them, find the nest.A small container of syrup near the nest should feed the critters for a whole summer.

the word "foreeeeeever" makes me understand how much you are annoyed by ants..i have a best simple way to get rid of the ants foreeeeeever!!! Do you have "turmeric powder" in your home??sprinkle it near the ants' host...they will die(unfortunate ants!poor!).... Then dont forget to close all the small holes in your house and dont spill the snacks or other eatables...they are the only possible source by which the ants are got attracted to your place..so keep off them... Take care, Sri
