Does anyone write for Hub Pages?

I'm on the lookout for dependable sites to write for, and keep stumbling upon Hub Pages. It seems that you can write content on just about anything, you can also submit photos to make your articles look more interesting, and you are paid according to the advertising revenue that your pages generate. To me, it doesn't seem too dissimilar to the other writing sites that are out there, such as Associated Content, Helium and Triond, apart, perhaps from the photos - which make each article seem more like a single blog post. So, are you a hubber? Would you recommend it? How, in your experience does it compare to the other writing sites? I'd like to hear anything you've got about them really! And I'm happy to look at hubs that you've written, to give me more of an idea about the site.

I'm not familiar with hubpages either, but it does sound interesting (though I have to admit that demand studios, paying $15 per article sounds way better!)But thanks for this post, might look into it as well...good luck to you!

I'm not familiar with that one, but I am now intrigued. I will have to check it out. I do work with Helium and AC, and Helium seems to be better in terms of the performance payments. Of course, the best pay usually is to write for a newspaper or print magazine, but you have to really be operating with your "A" game on to do well with that-- a bit hard to do when you have the sky falling in on your head on a semi-routine basis.

Thanks for your answer. Why do you prefer Squidoo? Is it similar to Hub Pages? I'll have a look at their website.
