Tiramisu 6 eggs, yolk and white separated. 1 small cup (120ml) of alchohol (Brandy/Baileys) depends how strong you want 3 tablespoon sugar Coco powder unsweetened (can get from me, I bought the whole damn bottle) Lady fingers (biscuits/cookies) from coldstorage (i used about 2+packets) Coffee powder to make 3 cup of coffee enough to dip Ladyfingers 500g Mascarpone cheese (coldstorage) Brew 3 cups of coffee without sugar. Leave at Room Temperature before adding 1 teaspoon of coco powder and about 60ml of ahchohol. Beat yolk with 3 tablespoon of sugar to creamy and slightly pale. Add 500g of cheese to 60ml of alchohol. Mixed well. Beat egg white to fluffy (foam) until when you overturn it will not drop. Fold in to beaten yolk then cheese. Cream is done. Dip fingers into coffee for both sides. Dip fast, once. Touch and go. Place sugar coated faced down into container. Then layer of cream. Layer of fingers. Lastly layer of cream. Sieve coco powder on top to garnish. Chilled overnight. Enjoy! well... my friend sent me this receipe... she made it and let us try it... and i am really interested in making it myself... BUT the thing is.... my mom advise me not to make it... but just buy it in shops.... it is cheaper that way and you will have lesser chance of having leftovers... well... that is really pratical... so do you do that? do you make deserts? or buy them?

well, it is not difficult to make. But you must have the right tools to do it! I tried my hand once at it and it failed miserably cos I did not have the right tools with me. I ended up with something that is totally not edible. Wasted time and money on the ingredients.

I make my own desserts. Here in the Philippines, the really good tasting desserts are expensive, even per slice is expensive and that makes the whole ones really really expensive. When I make a dessert, I can choose what sizes of ingredients I need to buy and also the brand, some cheaper brands are more tasty than branded ones. For example a refrigerated cake (whole ones) are like 300pesos some are more expensive than that, I dont know how much is that in Singaporean dollars but thats like I think around 8 US dollars, that is for one whole refriegerated cake only. If I buy ingredients with the same price, I can make like 2 to 3 cakes with the same size as the ones you can buy in stores. And when I make one, I also make one that is special, NO SUGAR, because my dad is diabetic. And no sugar desserts are very very much expensive here in the Philippines. If I convert it that is like around 15 US dollars, for whole ones. A pint of sugar free ice creams are like around 3 to 4 US dollars and more. That is already expensive if you convert it to my country's currency.
