I have read this EOn thing. I am confused. What is the difference between EON and other ATM cards that can receive money from PayPal? Is it the withdrawal time from PayPal? How much you will going to pay each time that you withdraw your funds from PayPal to EON? How much will you going to spend to open an EON account?

Hey I just get mine and it cost me only P350. It works like a regular atm, you can deposit/withdraw cash to their atm machines. I haven't tried to withdraw cash from paypal using EON but for sure it will have a fee. I haven't verified yet my paypal but it can using EON, it just has to contain the processing fee(something like P100 I guess) but after verification it will be refunded.

the difference between EON from other ATM cards is that it is the first one to open the services to paypal. for the withdrawal charge, if you withdraw using your DEBIT/CREDIT card meaning you will use your EON card per se, paypal will charge you an additional USD 5. But if you withdraw using your EON bank account, you will only be charged PHP 50 as service charge.

no both are not imposed at the same time. and yes, i have tried withdrawing using my EON as a debit card that is why paypal charged me 5 USD for the service charge. after that, paypal opened another withdrawal form and that is withdrawing via bank. i tried using my EON BANK ACCOUNT on that. paypal only charged me PHP 50 for service charge. and until now, that is the withdrawal method i am using. if you still have some clarifications about this, feel free to ask :) i am more than glad to help you this :D happy my lotting!

I am currently viewing the unionbank website. Is the PHP50 charge different than usd5 charge or both imposed? Have you used this service before?

Eon is a kind of debit card. It works like an ATM card where you can deposit money into your account. ATM cards are not accepted by paypal. It is either a debit card or a credit card. I have tried withdrawing money from my paypal to my Eon and it costs me 5 USD. It will take you 5 days to be able to withdraw it in your Eon account. You have to pay 350 pesos to open an Eon account. That is the annual fee. It is very convenient because there is no maintaining balance. You can use it for shopping too.

EON card is a cyber account... more often considered to a debit card. When you want to be a verified user in PAYPAL, you need a credit card to verify your personality. An ordinary ATM card cannot do that while EON card can. Paypal recognize EON card as a credit/debit card and even other online shopping sites that requires credit card, accept EON. All you have to do is fund your card and you will be able to make transaction using it. If you are going to withdraw your funds in your paypal account, after verifying with your EON card, you can then enroll your bank account as another way to withdraw your money in paypal. It is cheaper. Paypal to EON transfer of funds --- $5 fee Paypal to bank account fund transfer --- P50 fee for P7000 and below I think... and free for above P7,000 I think the other user said that P350 is the fee for eon card. Hope this help.
