In wanting to improve own personality, it will involve others' perception of you. Some perceptions maybe positive and some negative. Are the opinions of others important for your self improvement and how do you accept negative perceptions?

Yes, opinion of other do matters because you can't actually see yourself as others do. Negative perception must be dealt with accordingly. Don't despair if there are negative perception just take them to improve yourself. You cannot please everybody but you can always make improvements and you can always learn from all the people around to.

I think that the idea of listening to feedback about yourself from others may be painful but I think in some respects it is important to do so. I guess you can get an idea of how you appear to others by listneing to feeback of others about yourself. I think it probbly is pretty necessary to listen to others and hear what they have to say.

i don't think other's words are very important...first of all think that are they really perfect to make negative comments over us?.i agree am not perfect...none is perfect..am i right?.in order to improve ourself,it's better that you work it on your own..don't worry about others views...you would really know about your positives and negatives..boost your positives over and over never mind about your negatives....while you are concentrating on only your positives, your negatives get vanished and becomes of no importance...have a bright future...
