Tattoos and body piercings

Hello brisk123 I have my ears and my nose pierced but I used to have my eyebrow pierced and the top of my ear but I took them all out when I got married and they all grew over. The thing with piercing is that you can always take it out if you no longer want it but you are stuck with a tattoo for the rest of your life. I would like to have a tattoo but I have never seen anything I would like to have on my body for the rest of my life.

It really is a personal choice. Tats are a form of self expression and a art form. I have 13 of them today. Got my first one 34 years ago when women didn't get tattoos, why back then most men didn't get tattoos unless they were in prison or the military. The thing about tats is they are personal. You make a choice to alter your body forever. It shouldn't be about what is popular today or trendy. It should be about what is inside of you and how you want to express yourself, forever. Sure you can remove them, but it is painful and expensive. I love my tats! Always have and given that I will be 51 next month, there is a strong likelihood that I always will. Someday I might add to the collection even. I also have several ear piercings, 6 in one ear and 5 in the other. No other piercings but I would consider a navel piercing if my husband wasn't so against it. I would also consider getting my nose pierced but again my husband is really against it and I respect his wishes since it isn't worth fighting over. As to the issue of pain, yes tattoos hurt a little bit. It really depends on where they are placed. Some hurt more than others.

For me I like to see tattoo on other people but I don't like to have one, and I agree with abut small tattoo that will be suitable and good, not all the body, and even if that so why should they do that for all the body and distortion their beautiful skin that what I think, but small tattoo is good. I have four tattoos. I got my first one 26 years ago, when women didn't really have tattoos. I got a sunflower on my back up at the shoulder and added a bird dipping it's bill into the flower. It' tail is long and thin, extends about halfway down my back. I think tattoos are an expression of our selves or a period in our life. I always warn people, especially young people not to get something they can't live with forever. Be sure to think about how it could negatively affect your life before getting it! As for piercing, I hate face piercings and would never get one! The rest I feel, to each his own.
