The Democratic Convention is coming up soon. Who do you believe will be Barack Obama's choice as his Vice President? I've heard the popular choices. What do you think?

I think Chuck Hagel would be a good move. It beefs up the ticket in relation to foreign policy experience and it also plays strongly on Obama's message of unity (the other one being change).

I've been saying for months now that I think Obama will choose Joseph Biden. Of course, since I said it he'll no doubt choose someone as different from him as possible...lol! Annie

Good choice of running mates. He has a lot of foreign affairs experience. I believe it will be someone else however.

God, I hope it's not Bidden. He is one very arogant guy and I just don't like him. I keep wondering if Al Gore would mind being Vice Pres. He'd certainly add the required experience to the ticket. Not to mention a Nobel prize. I think he'd be the perfect choice.

I would really like to see him pick Kathleen Sebelius or Claire McCaskell.

General Wesley Clark. General Clark has the nation foreign policy experience and knowledge on military affairs. This guy is a West Point graduate and held the title Supreme Allied Commander for NATO, and successfully oversaw the Kosovo War; He will be able to rip apart McCain's "military know-how." Electorally, this guy helps pull in Virginia's high veteran population and may help sway Missouri as well.
