According to the article in "Pravda" - Jupiter and its moons prepare nuclear winters for Earth.., the explosion of Jupiter will reach planet earth and kill all organisms in it... I just read this article that says that Jupiter is like a star, because it has a process similar to that of a star. It means like the star, jupiter might as well explode in the process. Also, Caliston, one of the moons of Jupiter has the oldest ice self in all the moons in the solar system, and its going to explode. It's explosion will reach our biosphere or the earth as a whole. what are thoughts on this article? seriously, i am hoping this will not happen because the earth might be endangered or be affected if this happen... but this science,,, hard to beat.. you can read the whole article in this site: http://english.pravda.ru/science/mysteries/06-08-2008/106007-jupiter-0

Pravda always was a good source of entertainment. This is even more ludicrous than some of the stories that they used to print when they were an official publication. Planets don't explode just like that - Jupiter has been in existence for billions of years, why would it suddenly just blow up?
