United States Geological Survey..has tracked the migrating bird,a female bar-tailed godwit, a type of shore bird..and its travel mates via satellite. This bird has completed its epic journey from New Zealand to Alaska and back. These birds spend their summer in Alaska.. and in the Fall the return to New Zealand and to South Australia..
