Do you suffer from shyness? I do and I feel like I miss out on things because of it. I am not as shy as I used to be when I was little but I still am a very shy person. I think I always will be though.

Yes I am a very shy person. I used tobe really naughty when I was a kid but as I started growing up I started becoming shy. People usually mis-understand me for being proudy and think that I am the kind of person with whom its hard to get along but once I spend some time with them they and they come to know me they get shocked by that and say that I never thought you would be so nice. I usually find it difficult to adjust with new people but all I need is few minutes alone with the person and I can get along well. What is the best way to get rid of this shyness.

Hi again Donna! I'm not really a shy person, I like meeting new people but I do go red all the time! It's awful if anyone looks at me for longer than a glance or pays me a compliment I go bright red, then I am embarrassed that I have gone red and that makes it even worse! I thought I'd grow out of it but I don't seem to have yet, i Probably never will! There's nothing wrong with being shy though, it can be a very sweet quality! xx

There are people who are shy. You are not alone. I have my moments of shyness however I like to socialize and talk to people. Sometime I am timid around someone that I don't know but then I like to introduce myself and make friends. You can possibly break out of your shyness with a little help from the right person. If you can try to make a friend it is possible they can bring you out of your shyness.

I am also one of those people who were very shy when they were young. You could leave me on a corner for hours and I won't move an inch back then. LOL Well now I'm not that shy at all and I can't say that its bad or anything near being bad. I wouldn't be with my dimsum now if I was still shy, I wouldn't be who I am now if I was still as shy as I was back then. I guess you can say that I developed my shyness into humbleness before I was 13 when someone I care for told me that I was rude when in truth I was being shy. Being shy isn't bad, but it won't get you very far from where you are now, so I think turning your shyness into humbleness is more appropriate.
