have you ever been sued or sue?

I was sued for one million dollars once. I was involved in a car accident, I was injured and out of work for five months. I was making a left hand turn at an intersection with a yellow caution light. It was dark outside. I checked all directions before I turned, and next thing I know my car was spinning around. The driver of the other car, hit me on the right side of my car. I do not know what his injuries were, but when I received the claim, it stated that he was injured so , he would not be able to work again. I believe that was untrue, he was speeding, driving someone Else's car, and did not have a driver's license on him. I retained an attorney, and inadvertently the case was dismissed. I never went to court on this. That is why I do not think the other person's injuries were that serious. I tried to retain an attorney also, but he did not want to take my case, and I did not persue anyone else.
