Democrats Want to Expand UN Power

The liberals want to involve us further with the UN, to an extent that would even commit our military and weaken our sovereignty as a nation as well as further erode our economy while raising our taxes to pay for world poverty. While people here are wanting to get out of places like Iraq, and are complaining that we are "policing the world", they want to involve us further into these types of activities. I favor kicking the UN and all of it's useless baggage to the curb. What are your thoughts?
