Corn is one thing that can be prepared in so many ways.... From the baby corn in Chinese dishes to our traditional Boiled corn... And the best one is in the rainy season, when roadside vendors tempt you with mouthwatering and spicy roasted corn!!!! So can we have any new ideas on how to have corn... Especially for a lazy guy like me, who prefers microwave oven to the gas burner...:)

I like to cook it in water, and eat it straight off the cob. Corn on the cob is amazing! Have you tried it? A little bit of pepper and salt can be added for some extra flavor, and some people add butter, but I like it just plain. Sooo good!

That's how I like it too...I just add a little salt to the cooking water and that's enough seasoning for me...no butter or anything.

I like corncreams in shaved ice and milk. Its called mais con yelo. Another preparation would be "guinataang mais".It's a sweet rice porridge cooked with coconut milk (definitely a yumyum)

I'm sure you could make corn in the microwave you should look on the internet as to how to prepare it. I think that corn is often either boiled or roasted, but I dont see why you couldnt prepare it in the microwave as steamed. You can steam many vegetables int eh microwave and they are really good. I'm sue you could do corn that way also.
