Cats Make Great Pets Unless You Have Allergies

I love cats. I had one when I was in my thirties. My cat's name was Buttons. He was white and black. I did not have an allergy problem with Buttons. Unfortunately, most cats give me a very allergic reaction. Cat hairs bring about instant misery. Today, I will enjoy cats but from a distance.

As a child I used to sneeze a lot. My family had two cats, a Foreign White called Silvester and a Burmese called Sophie. When I was 16 I went to college where I didn't sneeze at all but when I went home my English cats as long as they are not moulting very much but Siamese cats and others like it make me sneeze. I love animals and so my allergy disappoints me. I am allergic to dogs that moult so I have two miniature poodles called Secret and Magic. I love cats but I don't think I could ever own one due to my allergies.

I'm lucky. The longer I live with my cats, the less my allergies become. I take allergy pills and use eye drops as I don't think I could stand to be without my cats. Cats add too much to my life for me to be able to give them up.

In my teens I used to have a male siamese cat as pet. I never had complain of any kind of allergy. His name was Danny and just like all other siamese cats, he was in the combination of dark and light brown colour.
