Do you comment on interesting videos?

I watch a lot of funny and interesting videos over youtube, but hardly comment since it is kind of a long process and a lot of people in the comment box abuse each other. I think it is better to stay away from such things rather than getting involved. I think that youtube should verify comments to be free of such abuses and spams. Comment feature is originally added to express your own views on that particular video, but our creative population uses it for a lot of other things.What do you think?

Youtube is my favorite video site and i watch a lot of funny, cute and interesting videos too, but i rarely comment on those because i agree that most of the people giving comments there do use abusive comments toward each other. However, if the video is really so amazing, i can't help but comment how amazing it is, esp. babies' videos.

in most situation,no if is necessary i can vote or rank some interesting video but to comment i don't prefer that method.i 'm looking most for some serious videos like video clips and trailers of new movies or some older to see what actors are playing and some good scene to see.

sometimes,, if i want to kill time or just want to comment.. if i really like the video, i would just rate the video, than commenting on it..

I don't usually comment on the more popular videos where as you say, there is a lot of abuse of the comment box. I will usually comment on a video I've seen however. I mostly watch videos of amateur musicians and since I appreciate comments, I usually comment on other people's videos as well.

usually i only watch videos without commenting on them...i'm a little lazy maybe!

if a video is interesting and i like it i will just add it to my favs. However, i usually comment on videos that upset me or that i disagree with.

Hey there...I can honestly say that I have never commented on a single YouTube video...I've read comments that other people have left and it seems like everyone just starts pointlessly arguing over stuff that has nothing to do with the video they just watched! Not to say that that would happen to me, but I just don't feel the need to have some 15 year old rich kid tell me why I suck..haha.. -Mike
