Would you be a kind host?

Suppose a myLotter would mention that he or she would be visiting your country, would you be a kind host? Are you that hospitable enough?
I was just thinking... With all the members here at myLot from different parts of the world, it must be a good idea to travel and meet up with the friends on our list. Wouldn't it be nice if we could welcome our friends here at myLot if they decide to visit our country? Since I started here at myLot last year, I have noticed that insofar as being friends to each other is concerned, there is no doubt that myLot members are so friendly to each other. I wonder if this is true even in real life. I heard some myLot members welcoming traveling myLot friends in their homes. Isn't that sweet?

Yes that would be a good idea as we are all good friends here and there has been a lot of laughter and tears too but mostly laughter and it would be nice to meet up.

definitely i welcome all the mylotters from bottom of my heart.. i don't how i be a good host. but i ll try to show you our country as possible as i can do?? and agree that we should make a strong relationship among all the mylotters.

yes and i will be happy to see you,, i live in the central India,, where you found lots of jungle, National park, temple, mosque, villages, our culture, food,, and so many other things. and lots of our love...

Well, hopefully they'd give me a proper head's up so I can tidy the place up all suitable for visitors (mind you, our place is decent considering I'm the only one who takes care of it, and is much better than many other places my family's ever stayed at. I just prefer to obsess over the house until guests arrive and it's only good etiquette anyways.)
But of course I'd welcome 'em into my home if they were visiting! I'm afraid I don't have alot of food and beverages to offer them or anything...but I'm sure they'd understand given the current economic climate and all.
I actually would probably enjoy having visitors from time to time, amongst those I discuss things with online.

Good idea! It will be so interesting that we meet mylot friends from all over the world. The earth became smaller and smaller; I think the day is coming. Good host? of course I will be. I think it will be a unforgettalbe experience. Would you like to have a walk on Great Wall? Welcome, my friends.

I feel the same. ALthough I don't have a fancy home. It's just a humble abode. I would welcome my friends to visit and I would love meeting my friends and chatting face to face.

A very healthy Idea. I think we must go to the profile of our friends at my lot and we will know about their countries,their age and their hobbies. There by we can interact with them through private messages. I think no member or friend will so no to any friend to come to his place when ever happens to be. It will bring more affection and love.
On my part every my lotter wishing to see the Golden Temple in India if comes to Amritsar my place I will be whole heatedly welcoming and helping to accommodate.

Yes, that would be so lovely. One of my friends here have visited my country before we have met and i sure would love to have him visit again. This time i will be welcoming him personally , he said that he is looking forward to visiting again. It would be so nice meeting our mylot friends in person. Wish that a lot of our friends on here can travel and visit some friends.As for me, i could only welcome you here in my country and maybe tour you around but i can't afford to travel and visit you guys.But i will be very happy to welcome you here.

I love traveling and would go almost anywhere in the world. I have lived, worked and traveled to some really great places around the world. I just love people, period. I would be quite the host if I were to have an overseas guest. I have been a good host when my friends have visited me from different parts of the world. We not only want to show them our best side, but also introduce them to the wonderful country and culture we have here in America. I believe the same would be true for those in other parts of the world.

Good day.. Hello kababayan. yes why not. Filipinos are well known for their hospitality and I won't mind having mylotters visit over here and I would gladly be a host for them.
