with a question mark gets more responses, or the one which ends with a statement, gets more responses? I think the former, than latter, subject, of course, to the quality content! What is your opinion?

I don't really think it makes much difference. As long as there is a question somewhere to start the discussion. I have even just had my question in the title of my discussion. I agree with you. It is more about quality than where you put the question.

I agree. Asking a question at the end gives those who agree with you as well as those who don't the incentive to respond, while making a statement is more likely only going to draw comments from those who disagree. Some who agree will also comment but I would think that there would be those who would just skip to the next post.
