Your Choice of the Best Person Who Ever Lived?

There are many famous people who are known not only in their own country but almost all over the world because of the good things they have done for the good of mankind. Aside from Jesus Christ who gave His life to save mankind, who would you choose as the person who gave the best contribution to mankind? And Why?

Hmm.. That is a good question. I believe that I will have to go back to the Bible times and Choose Noah. During his time the entire world was corrupt and God found Noah to be the most righteous of those living. Without his obediance to God in building an ark we would never have been here to day. Though he was riduculed he chose to believe God and obey him.

That's a nice choice. Noah's perseverance and complete trust in and obedience to God is something we all ought to emulate. And you're right. If he didn't trust and obey God and did not build the Ark, who knows if mankind would have survived to this day.

John Wayne! Though only an actor, he did a lot with his life and is still today looked up on for his hero ways.

Well.... of course he gave a lot of enjoyment and pleasure to his fans and moviegoers all around the world but I wonder what has he contributed to the benefit of mankind that is long lasting? He sure played a lot of hero roles but in real life what heroic role has he played? I too enjoy watching john Wayne movies but I don't have that much information about his real life.
