how do you feel when your 'hard earned' rating goes down rapidly?

Hi Sutan, I have been there too. My rates goes up and down, if i wanna pick, i want rate four because the color of the star is purple. I love purple. But have you feel the affect? i mean when my rates goes down, my earning also gets smaller them when it's up. So i carefully taking care of it. I used to "run" from discussion like "religion" cause, how hard we try to explain ours, when people doesn't want to listen and stand for their believing like trying to make a tree to bow. You know what i mean? At the beginning of my new member here at mylot, i like to visit "religion" section, but not anymore. Every body stand for them self. hello sutanhartanto, sorry to hear that you are being affected by the rating down syndrome LOL i think part of it is that one of your discussion got deleted and because of that my rating goes down as well. i honestly dont care what happen to my rating even the very beginning. i dont come here to have a reputation BUT i came here to share my thoughts and ideas and to make friends. i feel that such number inside the star is just a number that anyone can take away from you when they dont feel like you are one of their own or they are feel annoyed or threatened by you. the ratings go up and down so often that the essence of it is almost no longer there. rating doesnt make the sutanhartanto here REALLY,,, it is how we perceive you and how we value you in the community. i think it is best to see that you are here for the value and the worth of your post out here and not because of what you have in your star. like most said... a shine of your star will not be forever but the remains you have left in every one's heart will remain for the rest of time. cheer up!

Well, I just recently opened a topic with the same thought as yours. And I experienced the downgrade of my star points. It used to be 10, now it's a 9. I don't know how that happened, but I guess some people marked me a negative on my responses. Well, it doesn't feel good, but I don't want to make a big deal out of it. Anyhow, just feels sad, but I guess that's just life, people won't always agree with what you say and there might be people who're just in it to bring you down (you know crab mentality). But at least it doesn't keep me from posting here and making new friends. So, hopefully someday, we'd both get our 10 star points. But if not, big deal, life goes on. =)

it irritates me but i see it happening to every one so at least i know its not just me so i try to not let it get to me as much

Hi friend,I haven't experienced it so far as I have started recently.I would feel depressed if it happens to me as I spend all my free time here only. But why this happens?If they reduce our star rating its ok but if the points get reduced then we need to worry.Thanks for sharing.Happy mylotting.

i also experienced what you have experienced. i experienced my earning has gone down for 3 days. from $0.6 per day, it has gone to $0.15... i was shock but it was an inspiration (LOL) and i write discussions and responded a lot of posts just to increase my earnings. my rating has also gone down minute by minute, i realkly don't know why...
