I buy a lot of stuff on ebay, mainly books and clothes for my daughter and occasionally knitting wool. Up until May of this year I also sold things on ebay, mainly make up and clothes which I was pretty successful with but it got a bit too much and also they changed so many things on ebay I just decided to take a break for a while.

I have sold a few items online although not on auction sites. I love doing my shopping online and have it delivered to my house. It saves getting belted with shopping with trollies in supermarkets. I also love the auction sites and I am addicted to eBay and eBid. I don't think I would survive without the internet.

When I sell on our local sites the buyer usually has to collect in person. If they ask me to ship, then they would have to foot the bill for the shipping expenses.

Did you have any problems selling your items, like who pays for shipping? And yeah, you can practically find almost everything on ebay or other online sites.

Yes I have several web sites. They are affiliate product sites. I sell women's clothes on one site and jewelry and accessories on another, children's clothes and children's furniture on two other sites. I am planning to launch a cosmetics site next week. I do this don't make a living at it, I do it for fun and a little extra cash is always fun

Having an online shop sounds like fun. I'd like to set up one, but I have no idea what I'll sell.

I wanted to do that, but I just cannot. I used to buy things in local forums where people trade, but I encountered some problems there and there were too many scams there so I don't do that anymore

That's terrible. I think it's awful that people are always trying to take advantage of each other over the internet.

I don't know... And it is useless to try to find out who made this up, because it would be very long investigation and not worth the money. So I'd rather earn some more money to make up with the loss :)

No, i don't trust any online shopping. Why? There is no guarantee that they will deliver our bought goods. So, say no to online shopping..

I think paypal offers some kind of protection for people who sent payment to sellers, but I might be wrong. Certainly, there's always a risk when buying online, but I think the advantages of being able to find what you want quickly outweigh that disadvantage.

Ohhhh I am glad I found this topic. I have a site that is FREE to join, and if you shop online, or ebay sell, or shop you get instant % cash back into your paypal. If anyone is interested please add me as a friend, and message me, and I would love to refer you. My parents just joined under me. It seems confusing at first, but all you do if link your ebay to it, and before you bid, and win go to their site t get to ebay and bam you earned money for shopping. They have TONS of retailers listed including costume places, walmart, kb toys, toys r us, sephora if it's online they have it Plus they sometimes give you discounts off also. Message me if you're interested would love to have you. Thank you
