yesterday the mom of my patient gave me a cake..and she had said it is for me and for my co-nurse who had took care of her son during his confinement..again i was flattered with this appreciation of my service..the cake was big and i can not eat it alone..so i decided to bring it at our nurse's station and share it to the other nurse's on duty and other staffs in our station..they had been happy and said that it was very long time since they had received something from a patient..hehehe^_^ i am happy that i have shared it to them..and i do not have any regrets even if i haven't got the chance to eat a part of the cake..hahaha at least the cake was not wasted and they have eaten it..so guys if you were in my place will you do the same? will you share the food or just keep it for yourself? They did not see when it was given to me see i had a chance to hide it and keep it to myself but i still decided to share it..

U are very kind hearted and generous, i must say ^_^ U really treat your co workers and frenz well, as that's y u are often rewarded with all the good patients ^_^ hehe If a patient can reward u, that means that u have really done a good job and also, have done something beyond your job scope ^_^ It's your passion towards your job that earns u everything u have now ^_^ GOOD for u!!

Hi Kaezy, I think it was nice of you to share it with the restof the staff but, I think you should have offered half of it to your co-nurse first and then, either shared the whole cake with the others or, just your half if that was the decision of your co worker. Happy MyLotting my friend....

That was such a nice gesture! I would also share it to my co-workers as well. I remember one instance with my former co-worker. I was given a big box of chocolate by one of our clients and it happened that I was not in the post cause of breaktime so the messenger just live it to my co-worker and she did not even said that I have a gift and she is holding that chocolate. Then, the client call me and ask if I got her gift. so I answered "What was it?" To her surprised she calls the messenger and ask to whom he gave the gift and then we knew that my co-worker got that chocolate and did not bother to give it to me. I just got the chance to confront my co-worker after a day cause the client calls day after my co-worker receive it. That was something isn't nice. I even intend to share all the gifts and presents that I received with her but I never imagined that she can do that to me.

that is not nice..i will never ever do such things..it is already stealing..she should have given it to you and not own it for her alone..in the first place it was not really intentionally given to her..it was just given to her to hand it over to you after you come back to your post..hmm that was such a bad girl..

Oh I could see how good a Nurse you are because for a patient to notice your good service is something. There are many patients going out of the hospital hating the nurses and the hospital staff for their being negligent and uncaring. It was a different scenario in your case. I congratulate you for your good works. And how much more I also what to commend you for your unselfishness! What a kind gesture kaezy! You are very unselfish and for that you made your co-workers happy. I believe you are the happiest in the group because being able to share really gives a different kind of happiness. I believe a person who shares her blessing will receive more and more blessings anew. Of course you had every chance to keep the cake but you did not. Had you kept the cake... you did not only deprive your co-nurses of the cake but you also deprived yourself of more blessings. So keep up kaezy! I'm sure more good things are in store for you. Cheers!
