If given a chance, where would you like to have your own house ------ coastal area, mountains or plains. Do you like the place where your present house is?

I would pick a house on the beach. The sound of the waves are relaxing. Currently my family and my cousins family are thinking of buying one in Virginia.

I know for a fact that many people love houses by the hills and the beaches. But if it were to be me, I would want a very nice looking apartment in a busy city like San Francisco or New York, and enjoying the views from up above. That would be nice. I love busy environments, but traffic would be a downside and that's a real bummer. But I would love to have an extra big house by the beach when I'm really stressed out to get back into. I have the idea that if I were to live by the beach the whole time, I would tend to get lazy and not doing any work, LOL. Unless I'm a writer where I could get inspirations for my writings, otherwise it would not be such a good idea.

Well, I would love to own a house in the beach. It would be my getaway from a busy and hectic urban life. But of course, a pad in the city would be very useful specially when you are working. A cottage in the mountain with an overlooking view wouldn't be bad too. The climate in higher altitudes are cool and perfect for those hot humid days. Happy mylotting.

I would love to own a home on a beach in southern California or Florida. Like a warm climate. We currently live in the midwest in the middle of a big city. I love it here but maybe that's because I've always lived in this city.

i want a house on a hilltop.early in the morning before the sun rises,i would want to stare at the horizon and wait for the firs rays of the sun to appear.then,i would gaze down at the beautiful view.in the evening,i would behold the sky with millions of twinkling stars and marvel at the beauty that God has made.

On the beach! Hands down, no doubt and no question! I love the beach and coastal areas in general and could think of no better place to live. If this was not possible I would settle for a mountain or plain region but only if there was natural water nearby. The apartment I rent today is in Cairo which is in the desert! No beaches or even a natural water source for me I'm afraid. The Nile doesn't count because it is an hour away and I can't swim in it! lol.

No doubt beaches are the best. Living in Cairo must be a unique but nice experience.

I would love to have a thatched cottage by the sea in my own country or a thatched beach hut somewhere overseas. I would like to sleep hearing the waves and feeling a fresh ocean breeze. I would be able to go swimming in the warmer months of the year. I love to see a coastal view. At the moment I have the next best thing a view of the countryside. I like the location of my house it is in a quiet location. Behind my house is a great footpath for walking my dogs and a river that is quite pretty.

I prefer to have a house in an area where there are fruit trees, flowers and living things around. I believe that they emit negative ions which are very good to our health and our overall physique. I like to live in a place where nature environs around.

To begin with, I am content with my location of my house in my hometown. Also I am satisfied with my apartment on campus, which is close to a small river with good view outside. But if given another chance on the condition that I have enough money, I would like to have a house of my own built next to the coastal area although I also love mountain and plains.

I would have it be in the metro for now. I'm young, I'm single, I want to have fun doing young 20's stuff while I am this young. In a while though, I'd definitely love to have a place on the beach, where it is peaceful and beautiful, and I love the ocean, and I love swimming. It all really depends on where I am at in my life.

Metro has its own charm no doubt, only minus its pollution level and busy traffic.

Yes....i would defntly like a place near the beach or a hill-top only when i retire, at present, i want a house in a metro to help deal with my everyday needs and also, after living in a metro, you would tend to like hilly areas, the serene places, but we cannot survive there more than a month, after which we would defntly return back to our normal lives to a metro

I would like to live by the beach. I did live near the beach when I was a kid. But we moved into a more crowded city later. I really wish I could live near the beach again.
