can't help but rant...

so my doctor saga is over! as you remember a month ago i have posted a discussion here that i am depress coz of my medical check up. the doctor and the receptionist have told me that the result will be mailed to after a week. i waited a week hoping that i will get answers fast with the result at hand but to my dismay, i waited another week and nothing happened. i called the office in REX hospital (where they are located) and left a message coz no one answers. i got a call but i was having my shower so i missed it in just a matter of second. i call them back but got no response and so i left a message again. according to their recorder, the nurse advisor will call within 24 hours so i say - ok they will just call back. next day, i have been waiting all day and nothing happens. i called the next day and speak at the receptionist coz the head nurse is not giving me a call back, they said they will call again after a few minutes.,, hours passed by NO call! i keep calling and left a message NOTHING happens. i am really pissed coz they dont seem to understand that there is a patient who is waiting and stressing herself out and they dont even give a $hit about it, it is just horrid service. so my husband called them and they dont reply at all. after the 3rd week waiting they finally replied and said that the doctor didnt instruct them to call me back ... what the f#$%!!! didnt you get all our messages and all the calls we gave at the receptionist area? my hubby is really upset and so the clinic manager called us back and told me that she will make an appointment to an endocrinologist and will call me back. i have asked what happened to the result they are supposed to mail me and she said she didnt know. she apologize and said she will mail it that day. after a week of waiting... NO mail!!! i received a mail coming from IL and it arrives 2 days when my doctor's office is only 30 miles away from home. i called them again, and found out nothing. they keep saying they will call us back after a few minutes. a month passed by.. i am tired of waiting and told my man (who is feeling sick still) that i want to go to the hospital and get my documents and just find a new doctor. i called the endocrinologist and found out that the doctor's office gave them a wrong information for my address so the information they supposed to gave me is not yet in my hand. i told them my address and they said they will send it again. when we reach the REX doctor's office the receptionist is nothing but a rude one. i cant believe someone will hire people like that. what a cold blooded mammal i am not a mean person but i hate when people treat others like that specially those who are stress already with what ever health issues they have. we are passed to the manager coz the receptionist say my husband is really upset - who on earth wont be upset if you waited a month to get a result when you gave them so many chances. i told them they gave the wrong information to the endocrinologist's office so now i have to wait for their papers coz of that. the manager says that is impossible - yeah whatever! i got all my information and will see a different doctor next month. i just hate how a professional who should be showing some care to its patient dont seem to care at all. they just cared that you pay your fee and you're on your own. anyway, my apology for the rant, i just cant believe a well known clinic will do such horrible service. i cant imagine those who dont even have a health insurance or those who looks poor. it is not fair and left a bad taste on my mouth. i hope it never happens to anybody. EVER!!! good night!
