Have you ever been locked in the toilet/bathroom?

We were on our way back from holiday & our plane had stopped to re-fuel. I had taken my son to the toilet and sent him back to his seat whilst I went in. I heard the announcement asking passengers to return to their seats for take off - but the door wouldn't open! I heard a voice from outside 'Are you ok in there'. She attempted to pick the lock with a nailfile but then had to call the captain from the flightdeck to come and kick the door in. When i got back to my seat, my husband said, 'Where have you been? Apparently there's a delay in take-off. I dont know why. ' So, if you were on that plane on the tarmac at Gatwick... I apologise for the delay

I got locked in my parent's bathroom for about 10 minutes the other day. The lock is a bit dodgy, but I locked it automatically. It didn't help that my parents stood outside laughing!

I suppose its better that they were outside laughing than to have been alone in the house and stuck?? Did you just have to fiddle with the lock for a while or did someone have to set to with screwdrivers and the like?

Well, if I had to have one or the other, I think I'd opt for the lock-in because, at least that wasnt painful. I'm glad you suffered no lasting damage.
