For some people its just a place you go to when there's nothing else to do. Do you find the net really essential to your living or is it just a time-killer ?

Dear friend, I do hope net is time killer and also it betters one's living. It has various other services and facilities that could better the lifestyle of people and also it could make the world smaller and make more exposure to various other things that is in other end to other end of world. It also have various types of entrainment that could just make one's time pass. Also it is informative, money earning or income generating, some may get addicted, communication so on goes the uses of internet which makes net an essential part and also a time killer.

i too agree that u can spend time ideally without knowing anything if u have time u dont know what to do. it is because internet kills time so fast if u search for a small word it will lead u to a lot of sites and finally at the end of the day u dont have no time to see all the sites that link to the word searched by u. on the other hand we can learn a lot in internet, since it has all the information abt anything that is available in the world or in this universe everything that is available has both the good and the bad sides. i suggest u all that u must use the internet in a productive way

I work on the internet, so for me, it's quite essential for life. If I don't have an internet connection, I'm not able to work, so I can't earn any money. I do use it for other things, such as playing games, catching up with friends and doing sites such as MyLot to up my income a little bit. I'm also a member of a couple of forums that I like to post on, but none of this is really essential to me, it's just stuff I do to kill time.

i think everyone's and the way he/she use the ineternet.. why!? how!? it's can be a time kiler for the ones who just use it for chatting, making spaces and joining Dating Websites. it's a professionnal Way to improve a skills and knowledge for some who use it for research, reading tutorials at them Work Field and so on. as i said it's everyone's Ways and choices :))

It's definitely a time killer. Half the information you read on here is false, constructed through ignorance or through genuine misleading tactics. It's great for keeping families and friends together but only succeeds in propping up relationships that would have otherwise failed. If we had no email or facebook, we would still be keeping in contact with those who really mattered to us via phone or snail mail, rather than swapping favourite colours with people we went to primary school with (and never saw again). The only time I'm ever on the internet unless I'm waiting for important correspondence is when I am procrastinating, avoiding doing an assignment, have nothing better to do (or rather, am too lazy to find something better to do). We all say that the internet is a great tool for making money, but if we weren't all on here earning a couple of cents an hour, we could be working actual jobs making dollar amounts each hour.

I don't find internet as time killer. I'm on internet about6 hours a day and I'm trying to make some money but also to learn something. Internet is the biggest encyclopedia in the world and I adore it for that. I would be lost without it. When I'm going on a trip I can find very precise route where will I go, I can find everything for my college, earn some pocket money, have fun...
